RI-CSE Professional Development
A CS Proficiency COURSE for All
CS4RI is offering a professional development opportunity to prepare certified teachers to deliver the RI Computer Science Exploration (RI-CSE) course at no cost to your school! This semester-long course meets the RI CS proficiency requirement in a fun, engaging way for all students grades 6-12.
The Spring PD consists of an 8-session hybrid workshop series that meets Tues & Thurs evenings April 1 - May 1 (see schedule).
Interested teachers must apply by March 1st. Participants will be notified of acceptance by March 15. Accepted participants are expected to attend all sessions and may be eligible to receive a $500 stipend upon completion.
ICDS and/or CS Endorsed Teachers:
If you are a teacher that is not new to CS and/or have taught ICDS before, please review the self-paced RI-CSE PD module designed just for you!
