Here is an exciting opportunity being sponsored by the Infosys Foundation:
The 2nd annual Pathfinders Summer Institute – an intensive week of in-person professional development for K-12 public school teachers in computer science and making!
Pathfinders will take place at Indiana University, Bloomington from July 14 – 19, 2019.
If you are a K-12 public school teacher looking to build new skills and network with your fellow peers who are passionate about empowering children for the digital future, this week is perfect for you. Pathfinders has 21 professional development K-12 curricula to choose from. You are encouraged to Apply Now!
Deadline to apply is May 7, 2019.
Special consideration will be given to high-needs schools, teachers from under-represented communities, those new to teaching CS and Making, and districts demonstrating significant commitment to these subjects.
The great news is that all tuition, airfare, room and board for teacher participants will be paid to attend the Institute. To make this no-cost model possible, each teacher is required to match the Infosys Foundation USA donation with contributions from their schools, districts, PTAs or the wider donor community at DonorsChoose.org.
