Organization: Project Lead The Way
Format: 80 hours of CS content integrated across grades PreK-5. In addition to the CS curriculum, access is available to all 43 STEM modules.
Description: PLTW’s entire K-12 CS experience involves interdisciplinary learning, exposing students not only to computer science, but to various disciplines and subjects, helping them understand how computer science relates to the world around them.
Teacher Profile: No prior CS experience required
PD Profile: Online core training
Cost to School: Core training is $500 per teacher. The annual participation fee for PLTW’s Launch program is $950 plus equipment and supplies.
Computer Access: Access for all students

All PLTW pathways address Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and English Language Arts. Additionally, our computer science pathway aligns to Computer Science Teachers Association Standards.
